ABOUT ME

NICE TO MEET YOU

The purpose of this blog is deeply personal. As a family nurse practitioner with over 20 years in healthcare—and as a woman who once struggled with high blood pressure, high cholesterol, weight gain, and burnout—I know firsthand how overwhelming it can feel to take back control of your health and life after 40. After losing 80 pounds, lowering my blood pressure naturally, and completely transforming my mindset, I felt called to create a space where other women could do the same, with guidance, support, and compassion. This blog was born out of my own healing journey and a desire to help women over 40 feel seen, supported, and empowered every step of the way.

Through this blog, digital products, and my coaching services, I help women reclaim their wellness, confidence, and joy using real-life strategies that fit their lifestyle. Whether you’re trying to lose weight, manage a chronic condition, or simply feel more like yourself again, I provide evidence-based, compassionate support designed specifically for midlife women. You don’t have to figure it out alone—I’m here to walk with you, one powerful step at a time.

Whether you’re just beginning or starting over for the tenth time, know this—I’m here for you every step of the way. You’re not alone, and you don’t have to do this by yourself.

Here are 5 daily affirmations to support and empower you on your journey:

  1. I honor my body by caring for it with love, patience, and grace.
  2.  Each day, I grow stronger, healthier, and more confident in who I am.
  3. I deserve to feel good in my skin and at peace in my soul.
  4. I release what no longer serves me and welcome healing into my life.
  5. I am not behind—I’m right on time for the life I’m meant to live.

As you move forward, I invite you to carry this prayer with you: “Lord, give me the strength to show up for myself each day, the wisdom to nourish my body with love, and the grace to keep going, even when it’s hard. Remind me that transformation is possible, one small step at a time. Amen.”
